長〜い夏休みの間には登校日というのが2日くらいあったと思います。私の通っていた福岡市の小・中学校では58年前に広島に原爆が投下された8月6日が登校日。（いや、9日かも。長崎と福岡は同じ九州だもんね。）広島・長崎の原爆を実際に体験された方からお話を聞いたりして、悲しく怖い気持ちでいっぱいになった1日でした。今の子供達もそんな風に過去の戦争の惨事を学ぶ機会はあるのかな？
When I was a kid, there were one/two going-to-school days while the long summer holiday. At my elementary and junior high schools in Fukuoka, 6 Aug when the atomic bomb was dropped to Hiroshima was the one of going-to-school days. We could listen to people who actually experienced in the atomic bomb of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and made me filled with the sad fearful feeling. I wonder if kids have the opportunity to talk about the world war II these days?
