strawberry chocolate
The strawberry chocolate from Rokkatei (confectionery company in Hokkaido). Chocolate coated freeze-dried strawberries. I'm not so keen on it (I prefer Butter-sand) but C is very fond of it, so mum always bring it when she comes to Tokyo. She brought a huge box of the chocolate once, but a small box is a good size to appreciate it little by little. There are white and cream (milk) chocolate coating, and the white one is far better than the cream one! By the way, we can't compare with the one from MUJI for the taste.

Very good. Where can we buy these in UK or Europe? Or must we order from Japan?

Jun wrote:
Hi Howard, welcome to LDK. Unfortunately, we can buy this only in Hokkaido the north island of Japan, or from Rokkatei' website.

We have had 11 Japanese students live with us here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, over the years. One of my first gifts was a box of white chocolate strawberries and it has become my most favorite treat from Japan!! Love them!! The milk chocolate ones are good too, especially since for years I did not like white chocolate. But once I tried these from Japan, I changed my mind! The strawberries are nice and tart too. Anyone from Japan who comes to Edmonton can bring me a box of these ANYTIME!!! hehe

Hi Cheryl Kaye Tardif, it's nice to hear that you enjoy this white chocolate strawberries! I guess some of your students come from Hokkaido in Japan. I don't eat this often, because I can't buy this in Tokyo where I live. I hope your Japanese students got you message :-)
