annual ritual of house cleaning
It is a time for house cleaning. In Japan, we say 'the dirt this year, within the year'. Yes, I know but... I understand that people clean thier house in spring time in England, it's too cold to clean windows! Oh well, I will start from kitchen today. And I'm going to use Astonish. About 10 years ago, my mum bought this after seeing a guy promoting this cleanser in a department store. I remember that I thought it was an expensive cleanser (seems much cheaper these days). Actually I bought this at £1 shop in England! Lucky! My kitchen will be perfect with this. And this 'German-born (always says on a package)' melamine sponge is super good too. Make a sponge wet and rub a tea-stained cup, and your cup will be bling bling!

Phew! I've just done the kitchen part! It took 2.5 hours!! (Don't imagine how dirty it was!) I wonder how long I can keep it like this... Good luck for cleaning, Jean!

I've just finished cleaning windows with C' help, and drinking coffee with cookies! Yes, I feel good now!

Bling Bling?! Lol... Cleaning windows?! I love cleaning glass. Not sure what's wrong with me, but when you get it really clean then it's soo satisfying. Never use water though. Always just your proper window cleaner and wipe and clean with newspaper. I wonder whether cleaning windows in Japan is any different to doing so in the UK of Germany. I guess the view you get is different whilst sitting on the window sill.

I had to wipe with water first, it was so dusty from outside... I cleaned with newspaper too! How funny that those little tricks are the same everywhere!!
