hato bus
I don't know why I've been keeping this rubbish. This is a badge of Hato Bus (bus tours of Tokyo). I remember that me and my friend took my husband (boyfriend at that time) to a bus tour when he was visiting Japan for the first time. We chose the Cityrama Tokyo afternoon route. We had an English speaking guide but I think we were too busy to chat and didn't listen to her much. And also I wanted to stay in Asakusa longer. A happy memory. But feeling nostalgic about little rubbish is not very good for tidying rooms...

I'm also bad for keeping stuff like that. I'm constantly trying to cut down on the stuff I keep (made more important by the fact that I don't have a lot of storage space).

I've made 2 bin bags full with those un-necessary stuff since last week. It is hard to throw things away but I also don't have enough storage space. I need more space for nice living!

Hi Jun! I started collecting some of those tour badges when Japanese tourists left them on my desk in the museum. Some of them were really funny. Lots were made from pink rubber with a safety pin on top, and said HANK YOU or something like that! I eventually gave them to some kids who were visiting. Kids are great for taking crap off your hands that you don't want to throw away!!! I should take a photo of the storage space my flatmate made me to store all my toys, it will make you laugh! The whole wall is toys!

Is NIgel (british museum) the Nigel I know? I think it said 'Hankyu' on the tourists' badges! Not 'thank you' miss spelt! Although, that would have been better. Hankyu is one of the biggest transport company in Japan. My highschool was sponsored by Hankyu. not that it matters but...

Yes, it is our Nigel, Keiko! Hankyu and Thank you... I've never thought about it but it is quite funny. They should make Thankyou logo with their font.

Is the department store and the transportation company owned by the same people? I thought it was but the Logo is different.

They were the same company till 1947. You can read it here (Japanese only).
