大安の今日は友人の結婚披露宴の日。そして待ちに待ったF1シーズンが開幕して、今年最初の予選日。旦那が楽しみにしている押井守の映画「イノセンス」の公開初日でもあります。なんだかワクワクな一日です。

Today is the luckiest day in the six day Buddhist calendar, our friends are having a wedding party. Also F1 World Grand Prixit 2004 starts today, and Mamoru Oshii' INNOCENCE which my husband was looking for a long time opened in cinemas today. Too many exciting thigs are happening.

披露宴のためのお札は新品を用意。デパートのブライダルコーナーでは古いお札を新札に替えてくれるサービスがあると思っていたけれど、伊勢丹新宿店はしていなかったので、隣りの銀行で替えてきました。ドイツ人のおじさんも私たちの結婚式には新札でお祝いをくれたので、この習慣は世界共通？

I prepared new notes for a party. I remember that some department stores exchange old notes to new notes on a bridal floor. But Isetan department store didn't have this service, I went to the bank to get new notes. Is it a world wide custom to get fresh notes when we give money as a present?

They've had a lot of specials on TV regarding the film, and it was funny seeing the director, Oshii, want to leave work at 4 because he needed to get home to feed his dog. It's the same dog you see in the movie, and it's the most important thing in his life. I miss having a dog...

I heard that INNOCENCE shows with English subtitles at Virgin Roppongi. We watched GHOST IN THE SHELL at the cinema in london a few years ago, but I don't really remember the story! Have you seen Avalon? I prefer Avalon than GHOST... . The other day, at Mori Museum Shop, I saw cookies were selling in the dog food package which is same as we see in INNOCENCE.

Yeah, I've seen AVALON, and even have the DVD (and I have the DVD of the original GHOST IN THE SHELL film also). Great film. That is absolutely fantastic news about INNOCENCE playing with English subs. If so, I'll try to go see it this week.

Their plan showing with English subtitile was only on Thursday and Friday. To think about this film started on Saturday, they haven't tried to show it even once? I hope they not going to give up whatever the problem is.
