この間、よく行く輸入食材屋の品川支店でレープクーヘン（スパイスがいっぱい入ったドイツの焼き菓子）を発見。ドイツではクリスマスが近くなると売り出される商品。実は昨年末にレープクーヘンが食べたくて探し回ってました。こんな所で、こんな季節に売っているとは。しかし、コレ、定価で買ってしまいました。この時期に季節外れの雛あられを値下げ無しで売りさばこうとしている様なもんです。半額ぐらいにして～！

The other day, I bought lebkuchen (German spice cake) at an international supermarket in Shinagawa. Lebkuchen is a typical Christmas sweet in Germany, and I tried very hard to find it last Christmas. I can't believe that I found this now. But I shouldn't have paid the full price for it. It is like that they trying to get rid of unseasonable Halloween cookies without discount! It has to be at least half the price!

このレープクーヘンは特にコメントすることナシ。昨年末に食べたレープクーヘンが美味しすぎたのでキビシイ採点となりました。札幌はミュンヘンと姉妹都市という事でアドベント（11月30日に最も近い日曜日からクリスマスまでの期間。毎日がクリスマス・イブ気分？）になるとドイツの露店が大通り公園に並ぶそうです。去年のクリスマス前、そこにレープクーヘンが売られていたよ、と実家の母から電話。ちょうどレープクーヘンを探していたところ！と伝えると、5袋ほど買っておいてくれました！しかも、そのしっとりとしてオイシイ事！今年の冬も買ってもらう予定。間違いなく日本中で一番美味しいレープクーヘン。もしかしたらニュルンベルグ中でもかなり美味しいのかも。

This lebkuchen was nothing special. The lebkuchen I had in Sapporo last year was too good! Sapporo has a sister-city relationship with Munich, and Munich Christmas market is held in Sapporo Odori park during Advent. Last year, my mum told me that she found lebkuchen in the market, and I asked her to get some for us. It was so great, it had the perfect moist! I'm going to ask her again this Christmas too. I guarantee this is the best lebkuchen you can buy in Japan! It could be very good one in Nuremberg too.
