キャドバリーのタイムアウト・ミント味を99円ショップで発見。青いパッケージのオリジナルバージョンはロンドンでよく食べてました。すっごく懐かしい！と思ったのに実はキャドバリージャパン、1978年にスタートしてました。結構長いのに残念ながら日本での認知度は高くなさそうだけど、確かに近所のスーパーでもキャドバリーのデイリーミルクチョコなどを見かけます。キットカットやポロは日本でもフツーにロングセラーなので、元々はイギリスのお菓子だったなんて知らない人もいたりして。

I found mint flavour TimeOut at a ¥99 shop. I used to eat the original blue TimeOut in London. I was surprised to see it, but then I found out that Cadbury Japan exits since 1978. Unfortunately it's not very popular in Japan, but I've seen Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate at our local supermarket. Kit Kat and Polo mints are long time favourites in Japan. Maybe some people don't even know that they are originally from UK.

Ha ha, no Jun. I'm afraid the Crunchie wasn't in Tokyo, it was found in "Best Off-Licence" on Bethnal Green Road. After buying some sandwiches from Tesco for lunch. Crunchie certainly is the connoisseur's choice, though.
