うちに遊びに来ていた友人たちが、ロンドンへ帰っていきました。朝6時に我が家を出ないといけないので、最後の夜は早々にして引き上げようなんて言っておきながら、居酒屋で飲んだり食べたりした後にカラオケへ。しかも2時間も歌ってしまいました。家に着いたのは朝の3時。

Our guests flew back to London. Thay had to leave our flat at 6 am, so we decided not to stay up till late on the last day. But we went to Karaoke after we had dinner and drinks at an Izakaya. We sang for 2 hours! It was 3 am when we arrived at home.

私たちもイジョーな盛り上がりをみせてしまいました。彼らにとっての初のカラオケボックス、かなり喜んでもらえたようです。仲間よ、すばらしい接待カラオケにしてくれてありがとう！

Everybody went completely mad. But it seems like our friends enjoyed their first Karaoke box experience.

Hi Keiko, this place was huge! it was double size of a normal Karaoke room. But yes, it was a dingy place, probably the first generation Karaoke box. The dance reminds me of a Para Para Dance (do you know it?) a bit, but it was an improvised dance. The original!
