We went to the Arakawa River with friends and enjoyed the Sunday afternoon. On the way to the river from the Kita-senju station, I found an old dango (a soft round rice cake) shop. Their dango were very good! Some very old houses are still seen in this shopping street. The embankment of the Arakawa River is quite well known because of the Japanese TV drama (1979-) Kinpachi sensei (teacher Kinpachi). He was always walking/running here.

The bicycle M was riding on was very cool! She could push her bicycle very smoothly with her own feet.
Hi jun! That bicycle, is it Velocat (not sure of the spelling...)? Dirk saw a toddler peddling one in Berlin and we've been thinking of buying it for our boy eventually... Its sooo cool!
Hi Tamami, I think the bike is called 'Like A Bike'. It was soo cool! If I have a kid, I will get it!
Like A Bike'という名前やったよ。
I just checked on the internet, and I see that they have a 'mountain' version too! But I think I like the one that your friend has better. Ni-ce... I really want to get it, but our baby can just about rollover now, so it would be another 2 years til he can use this thing...! It's too early to get it I guess... hmm, I might ask D what he thinks! (the problem with me is that I can never let go once I want something! Terrible...) It might be a trip to Brick Lane. (might as well get some bagels while I'm there then!)
Tamami, I also think the road race style with thin wheel is the best one! Very beautiful and good enough for city use. (there are 3 types) I feel like buying one too, but I don't even have any kids! I think we should be careful, Tamami!!
