急遽、明日から旦那と一緒に1泊の日光旅行を決めました。今回は中禅寺湖あたりをガンガン歩いてこようと思います。もしかしたら男体山へも？そんなわけでモシモ！の時のカロリー補給のためにカロリーメイトを購入（といったら相棒は大笑いしてましたけど、私はホンキ）。あまり買いませんが、カロリーメイトのパッケージデザインはかなりスキです。大塚製薬さん、このまま変更しないでね。では、LDKは2日後に戻ります。

Suddenly, C and I have planned a one night trip to Nikko from tomorrow. I want to walk around the Lake Chuzenji area this time. Maybe we go to Mt. Nantai too? then we might need Calorie Mate (balanced nutrition food, an easy source of energy and nutrition) just in case! C was laughing about me but I'm serious! I don't buy this often, but I love the package design. I hope Otsuka Seiyaku won't change the design. See you in 2 days' time!

The only time I ate calory mate was in 1991. We were on a bus trip somewhere in Mie-Ken and our tour guide decided to take a shortcut through the mountains to "enjoy the scenery". Five hours later we were caught in the mist and had no idea where we are. Luckily Carsten (another one) had two packages of calory mate which he shared - with the other 13. Under these circumstances I have to admit it was rather delicious.

Hi Charlie, Calorie Mate is available in cheese flavour, chocolate flavour, fruits flavour and vegetables flavour. The texture is super dry version (or less fat) of shortbread biscuit, it's not very tasty but healthy I guess :-)
