bon odori
This weekend, there was a Bon Odori (traditional dance) festival at our local Yutenji temple. There were so many people and I've never seen Yutenji being so lively! I joined the big circles of dancers: men and women of all ages, and I tried to learn dancing by watching other people. My friends saw me dancing very badly, but it didn't matter because we should enjoy dancing! The young drummers on the top of the stage, old ladies with beautiful yukata (informal summer kimono), there were many cool people. I should wear yukata next year.

Hi Jun! This is what Japanese summer is all about! Ah... I haven't been back in Japan during summer in 7 years now... I know it's unbelievably hot but I still miss it!

Hi KEIKO, today's highest temperature will be 38°C. It's higher than our body temperature. Do you still want to be here?

Sorry, I was wrong. It reached to 39.5°C!
