洗面所の引き出しの奥からジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンの歯垢取り（爪楊枝とは違うのかな？）が出てきました。ず～っと昔にアメリカに旅行に行った友人がくれたものです。私が使うかどうかは別としてプロダクトデザインとしてはとてもウツクシイと思います。そう言えばヨーロッパの爪楊枝を初めて見た時、長いうえに両切りなので驚きました。爪楊枝置きが作れませんね（普通作りませんけど）。

I found a Johnson & Johnson Stim-U-Dent Plaque Removers (not a toothpick?) in a drawer of the bathroom. My friend brought this to me from N.Y. ages ago. I don't know if I will use this, but I think this is a beautiful product design. Come to think of toothpick, I was surprised to see a toothpick with two pointed ends in Europe. The Japanese one is shorter and only one side is sharp, and I can (I usually don't) make a toothpick rest.

日本の爪楊枝、人気なのかな？どうなんでしょうね。でも居酒屋などに置いてある1本づつ袋入りにされている楊枝はとても日本的（個別包装文化）で、好きな人にはタマラナイかもしれませんね。
