friday night
I was invited to an interior shop's birthday party. The invitation seemed quite casual, but I realised that I was so underdressed. After I had some sliced ham and champagne at a black lacquered dining table, I left the party. Walking around Omotesando, I saw that shigoto cafe travail, which I wrote about the other day, was still opened.

¥200 for beer and ¥300 for mixed nuts. Very reasonable! We could listen to a violin player. There were lots of women in their 20's but it didn't seem like they were looking for jobs yesterday night. C and I were waiting for our friend to finish her work, but we couldn't wait any longer and moved to an Asian restaurant called Soul. I think I prefer Gyoza (dumplings) and beer to Jamon Serrano and champagne!

Hi Nigel, Yes, we are very easy people! Do you miss my Gyoza dumplings?!

Hi Jun! Yes I've really missed the Japanese food, and especially your cooking! I went to a good Japanese pancake restaurant like the one we went to with Akiko and Paul. But they didn't let you cook the food yourself and it was really expensive!! But it tasted really good. I have started buying frozen gyoza every now and again and having a big feast when I get home!! Silke is going to cook some of the pancakes for me this week, I think she is a pancake sensai now!! I went to the cinema to see 'Supersize Me!', have you seen it for a bit of MacDonalds culture? They have some great paintings of Evil Ronald!! They had some cool dolls too! Everyone told me the film was really gross, but somehow it made me really hungry, but not for MacDonalds though!! Nx

Hi Nigel, did you enjoy the pancakes cooked by Silke chef? I haven't heard about 'Supersize Me!' until now. I think it hasn't reached Japan yet. But I'm looking forward to watch it.
