今日は旦那の誕生日。昨日ドイツの母から荷物が送られて来ました。素晴しいタイミング。誕生日プレゼントとクリスマスのお菓子が山ほど入ってました。レープクーヘンやリントのチョコ（クリスマスバージョン）など大好きなものばっかりです！モミの小枝が入っているあたりがお義母さんのステキなところ。ありがとう～。これから旦那のリクエストでメキシコ料理を食べに行って来ます。

Today is C's birthday. I received a packet from his mother in Germany yesterday. What a great timing! There were a birthday present and lots of Christmas sweets. The Christmas chocolates from Lindt and different kind of Lebkuchen etc. I love everything! It's so nice that she also put a fir branch inside. Thanks! We are off to a Mexican restaurant now to celebrate his birthday.

Thanks Nigel, and thanks to our Ebisu family members who came to the party the other day! I hadn't expected it to be a birthday party, it was a great evening. And they did have bowling shoes my size. And just now, as I was writing this, the postman rang and delivered a package from London! Nice evidence bags!

Thanks DIrk! Disco Bowling had been my last time as well. Hence the muscle ache, or maybe that came from falling over twice. Unfortunately this place didn't have disco lighting, but they did have live video feeds of the current players from the front, if that makes sense. And on the empty lanes they had a video of something like "Famous Bowlers of the Sixties" which may have been the main inspiration for The Big Lebowski. And Merry Christmas!
