Today is the birthday of our friend T who is pregnant, and we had a day early birthday party at Las Chicas in Omotesando yesterday. It was meant to be a surprise party but it didn't work, same as last year. I thought that the building is kind of spacey as a restaurant in the middle of Tokyo, and I found out that it used to be a private house owned by African ambassador. They prepared a table for us on the terrace, but it started to rain just before the party! We moved to inside where we could see the terrace... It was a little bit strange to see our drinking friends just after 3pm, I know them only in the night time!

Their avocado in 'Avocado Caligula Salad/Las Chicas special Caesar salad' (¥1,300) was very thin and nicely sliced. I wonder what kind of slicer they use (it seems like this avocado slicer is difficult to handle). After we had enough food, we asked where T wanted to go. She said she hadn't been to Karaoke for ages, so we took her to Karaoke. T said she can't sing from a stomach, but she can still sing really well. She is a Karaoke Queen! As soon as the baby inside T heard the music, she started to kick T a lot. Amazing!
