On Sunday, we went to our friends' wedding party on a Yakatabune boat. The boat left Shinagawa at 6pm. As it got darker and darker outside, the groom became more and more drunk. At the end of the party, the groom said "thank you" and started to cry! I have not seen many men cry like that! So sweet! The crying groom and the supportive bride made all of us so happy. Congratulations!

I was so glad that I didn't get seasick. My kind friend's advice was "get drunk before getting sick"! Maybe it worked?! The cruise was two and half hours, but we had hori-kotatsu (sunken well seats), so we could stretch our legs. Comfy! The Yakatabune staff had to look for the groom's shoe which was accidentally dropped into the sea. They also fried lots of tempura for us in a small kitchen on the boat. Thank you!
