Venus Williams beat Maria Sharapova, and she made it to the finals of Wimbledon. Hurray! She is so beautiful and cute, and strong of course! I'm really looking forward to watch the final tonight. NHK broadcasts Wimbledon from 1am Japan time, so I go to bed around 4am these days. I wake up quite late, so I sleep long enough, but I still feel very tired. I guess human beings should get up with the sun!

I really like Venus's tennis dress by Reebok. It is elegant and stylish, it has quite a lot flare, and suits her very much. I found out that it was designed by Diane Von Furstenberg (and Venus herself). You might have seen her on Andy's art work. She sold five million wrap dresses in the 70's. No wonder Venus' dress is very feminine! I guess the design of the backside of the dress was especially for Venus (or did the idea come from Venus?), but it wasn't like this the other day. Maybe it wasn't comfortable enough? I found out that a simple black version ($44.99) was on sale in the US, but it sold out everywhere. BTW the Nike tennis dress which Sharapova was wearing costs $70. I didn't know that tennis clothes are quite reasonable. Except Sharapova's tennis shoes, which have real gold on them.
