去年は隅田川の花火を小さ〜くしか見れなかったので、今年は
神宮外苑花火大会を近くから見ようと張り切って出かけたものの6時半に外苑前に着いてみれば
人・人・人。「ココでは立ち止まらないでください！」と拡声器を使いながら人の耳元でキンキンに叫ぶ係員にはウンザリでした。拡声器使ってるんだから叫ぶなよ。
CIプラザ広場で敷物に座って陣取っている人がたくさんいたので私たちも座ってみたけれど花火が始まってみれば音ばかり。花火の頭半分しか見えませんでした〜。ちゃんとした見える場所を求めて移動した人もたくさんいたけれど、私たちはそのままでビールにチラッと花火を楽しみました。来年は神宮球場で見ようかな。
We saw the Sumida River fireworks last year, but we were quite far away. So this year we tried to see the
Jingu Gaien Firework Festival (in Japanese) properly. We arrived at Gaienmae station around 6:30pm, there were
so many people. It was annoying that a man shouting with a megaphone shouted 'Please, do not stop here! Keep moving!'. He was the only one who was super noisy and it was not necessary at all. Do not put a loud speaker next to our ears! We walked to Aoyama, and there were
lots of people at CI Plaza Square. We decided to sit with them, but after the fireworks started we realised that it wasn't a good spot. Lots of people tried to find a place with a better view, but we stayed and chatted and drank beer while watching the top half of the fireworks. Maybe next year I want to see it from inside the Jingu stadium.
