旅行と言えば楽しみなのが土地の食べ物。北海道でもたらふく食べてきました。と言ってもカニ、ウニ、イクラ、アワビはワタシも相棒も苦手。せっかくなので味見だけはしましたけど、やっぱり「うまい〜!」とはいきませんでした。とっても安上がりなワタシたち。鮭、トウモロコシ(北海道ではトウキビ)、ラーメン、ジンギスカンにビール、おいしかった〜。にぎりで食べた甘エビ(激うま)の大きさにカルチャーショック。
If I go on a trip, eating the local food is one of the things really look forward to and we had lots of nice
Hokkaido food. Hokkaido is very famous for crab, sea urchin, salmon eggs, abalone etc. Even though we both don't like them much, it's hard (or expensive) to find the same quality in Tokyo, so I ate those foods. I still didn't think that they were great... but I enjoyed eating salmon, sweet corn and Mongolian mutton BBQ, and drinking Sapporo Beer!
