ヨーロッパから遊びに来ていた友人たちが続々と帰国の途へ。急に寂しくなりかけた所にタイミングよく近所の友人から今年も
秋刀魚のお裾分けを頂きました。そんなわけで久しぶりの家ごはん。
去年は刺身と塩焼きで食べましたが、友人のオススメ通りに秋刀魚ごはんにしてみました。初めて作りましたが、秋刀魚の脂と苦みがナカナカでした。青いモノがないので写真が映えてませんが、秋刀魚とショウガの相性はバッチリ。外食三昧で美味しいモノばかり食べてた話はまた後日に。
Our friends from Europe left Tokyo. It was so nice and I felt sad that they had left, but my friend from the neighbourhood offered us many
sanma again! It was good timing! It was nice to cook at home after a long break.
Last year, I made sanma sashimi, but our friend suggested Sanma Rice, so I tried to make it. I had never eaten Sanme Rice before, but it was nice. The fattiness and bitterness of sanma go well with with ginger. We spent lots of time having nice food and drinks with our old mates, so I will make new entries about that later.
