C went snowboarding in Nozawa Onsen (hot springs resort) in Nagano, and he brought sweet steamed buns called Onsen Manju from Masutaya shop. After he bought this box, he heard that the Onsen Manju from Fukiya shop (in Japanese) is very well-known, so he brought three more Onsen Manju (they have three different kinds of buns) from Fukiya. Nice job! The both of them were good but I prefer the one from Fukiya, it was not too sweet but strong flavour. There are more shops selling Onsen Manju (in Japanese) in the area. They look almost same, but I wish if I could try them all!

I've never been to Nozawa Onsen (even though it is very famouse), and C told me that there were lots of little hot spring pools everywhere in the village. The water temperature is about 90°C (195°F) and the locals boil vegetables and eggs there. It sounds amazing. I have to visit there!
