そろそろ4年目になるポット型浄水器ブリタを新しいのに替えてみた。選んだのはリクエリというモデル。今まで使っていたスリムタイプのクール（ワタシが持っていたのはコレよりも古いバージョン）がさらにコンパクトになったモノ。1.2Lと浄水容量は少なめだけど、四角くてシンプルなデザインがなんともワタシ好みでイイ感じ。冷蔵庫に入れても牛乳パック2本分の幅で収まるから（高さはもっと必要だけど）小さい冷蔵庫の我が家にはうれしいかも。こんなに小さいサイズのブリタは日本限定デザイン。なるほど。

I had been using the same BRITA nearly four years, and I bought a new BRITA Liquelli the other day. The old model I have is called Cool, which is slimmer than other BRITA jugs, but I chose even smaller model. The filtered water capacity is only 1.2L, but I really like the simple design. It is only available from BRITA Japan. I guess they know the size of our fridge.

今まで使っていたブリタ、注ぎ口の水切れが異常に悪くなっていた。新しくやってきたブリタの水切れはスバラシく（最近のブリタにはカートリッジ交換時期を知らせてくれる機能が付いてるのね）本体もピカピカ。でも古いのも壊れているわけではないから、捨てるにしのびない。で、野外でサングリアやピムズを作る時に便利かもと思いついた。しかしカートリッジと水を受ける内側の部分を外すとフタが閉まらない。どうにかフタを本体の上に乗せられたと思ってもすぐに落下。これじゃムリか。サングリアが入ってる時にこうなったら無惨すぎ。

I was fed up with water dripping from the spout of my old BRITA, but nothing has broken. I feel bad just throwing it away. I thought that this jug would be useful when I make Sangria or Pimm's on a picnic. But if I take out the filter cartridge and the funnel from the jug, the lid doesn't fit anymore... It stays on the rim but it falls very easily. I don't want this to happen when BRITA is filled with alcohol!

abiさん、こんにちは。10年使い続けてるなんてエラいです。水切れさえ悪くならなければ、ワタシももうちょっと頑張って使い続けたんですけどね。でもデザインに惹かれたって買っちゃったっていうのが本音だったりもします。冷蔵庫に入れるとしたら、今までのは牛乳パック3本分のスペースが必要だったんですけど2本で済むのがうれしいです。画像ですが、写真だけじゃなく動画もアップロード出来るんですよ。

that's funny, i just had to buy one of those to bring to guni in china because the tap water there is not very clean + then i got kind of jealous because they actually look so nice. but in germany it feels a little pointless to have one... i wonder how they can tell how used up the filter is?

Hello Kai!!! I am a little bit skeptical about the "MEMO" sysytem... Apparently when we set a new cartridge, press the "START" button, and the "electronic cartridge exchange indicator" counts down the remaining cartridge life. But I guess it doesn't really matter how much water we clean, just the time matter. Anyway my new BRITA looks good, doesn't it? And we want to visit Guni when you are in China :-)

Those filter counters are so crap! I don't know anyone who still has one that works! It only counts a month backwards, but mine broke the day I got it! In the UK they've made a new jug with a horrible fat filter in it and are trying to phase out the one everyone usually uses! I don't want to buy the ugly one!
