スプーンカーブの自由席エリアに腰をおろして予選観戦。木曜日に自宅で仕込んだTシャツを着て（しかも相棒とは初のペアルックというハズカシイ事をして）アロンソを応援したにもかかわらず、フェラーリがワン・ツーでフィニッシュ。アロンソは5着。
もーっ！。ワタシ達のまわりにいたの大勢のフェラーリもしくはシューマッハファンは大喜び。きーっ。
ポールポジションを獲得したフェリッペ・マッサのタイムが1分29.599秒。早そうだけどサーキットの大きさがよくわからないので、どんなもんなのかパッとしない。Googleマップで
鈴鹿サーキットと渋谷周辺の地図を比べてみて、納得。この距離を1分29.599秒はヤバい。
3時に予選が終わった後、満員電車を避けるために7時過ぎまで観覧車に乗ったり、サーキットでまったりしたり。9時頃に名古屋に戻り、老舗ウナギ屋でひつまぶしを食べようと張り切ったものの閉店時間は午後8時。ガーン。前日も友人に教えてもらった味噌おでん屋に行ったら閉まってたし、今回の旅行は食べ物に関しては超アンラッキー。おいしい名古屋料理はひとつも口にしなかった。
We sat at the
spoon curve non-reserved seats area, and watched the qualifying session. We wanted Alonso to win, we were even wearing Alonso T-shirts which I printed on Thursday night, but he finished fifth.
Boo! Both Ferrari cars on front row, so lots of Ferrari or Schumacher fans around us were so happy...
Massa's best lap was 1:29.599s, it sounds fast, but I had no idea how big the Suzuka circuit is. So I checked Google map and
compared the circuit with Shibuya area. OK, it's amazingly fast!
After the qualifying session finished at 3pm, we hanged around at circuit and
Motopia amusement park after 7pm, just because of we wanted to avoid packed trains. Around 9pm we got back to Nagoya. I was very looking forward to eat
Hitsumabushi at the old established eel restaurant, but the restaurant closed at 8pm! No! On the day before, we went to an old Miso-oden place which was recommended by our friend, and it was also closed! We had no chance to eat tasty
Aichi (Nagoya) cuisine this time...
