先月、ドイツから友人が遊びに来ていた。お土産でもらったのが
クンメルリングというお酒。内容量20mlの小瓶で昔っぽいデザインがいい感じ。最近この手のボトルはプラスチック製になってきてるけど、コレはちゃんとガラス製。友人の勧め通り、飲んだ後は
花瓶にしてみた。聞いた話だとドイツのバーなどでコレを友人と飲む場合、
ボトルの底に書いてある数字が小さいと負けになり、勝った人に次のクンメルリングをおごらないといけないらしい。勝っても負けても最低2瓶は飲むってこと。ちなみにこの酒、35度で結構強い。
Last month a friend from Germany stayed with us and brought some
Kuemmerling for us. It's a tiny 20ml size bottle, the design is classic and cool, and of course the bottle is made of glass (I don't like the miniature bottles that are made of plastic these days). As our friend suggested, I used the bottle as a
vase after drinking it. He also told us about the
numbers on the bottom of each bottle: when people drink Kuemmerling at a bar, whoever has the lowest number has to buy the next round. It means that everyone has to drink at least two of these 35% alcohol bottles.
