フィンランドから来た不思議なゲイシャについて書いたものの、なんと近所の東急ストアでもゲイシャを発見してしまった。今度はツナ缶（正しくは
まぐろ水煮）。しかも
日本製！そんなわけでロゴになっている
姐さんは日本人が見ても違和感のない容姿。この
GEISHAブランドの缶詰シリーズ、1911年にアメリカで販売されて以来、世界のマーケットで売られ続けているというからスゴイ。かなりの大御所。味の方はまだ未確認。
Last month I wrote about
Geisha from Finland. For Japanese it is weird to name something 'Geisha', but the other day C saw a new Geisha at our local supermarket. It is a
tuna can, and surprisingly it is made by a Japanese company! So the
woman looks very Japanese. I didn't know that this
GEISHA brand started in the United States in 1911, and now it expanded the market to Europe, the Middle-East, Africa etc. This Geisha is old and doing good, well, I haven't tasted it though...
