昨日PASMOが発売されたので、ワタシもPASMOデビュー。今まで使っていたSuicaのペンギンが結構カワイイので迷ったけど、やはりsuicaよ、さらば。しかしPASMOデビュー・Suica相互利用開始記念カードだとpasmoなのにペンギンもいて、なんだかヤケにかわいらしい。「コレ、欲しい！」と思って（主要駅発売所ではなく、穴場っぽいと勝手に推測した）バスの営業所に電話で問い合わせてみたりしたのだけど、11万枚限定のカードは既に完売。当然か。鉄道マニアの世界はそう甘くない。

PASMO was finally launched yesterday. I liked the Suica I've been using because of the nice penguin character, but I decided to use PASMO from now on, not Suica. Actually the commemorative PASMO cards were also available yesterday. I wanted this sweet PASMO card with the penguin character, but 110,000 cards were super quickly sold out everywhere. I forgot that there are many many train lovers, probably including a lot of station employees. Sigh!

Thanks for reminding me about Pasmo. I always use my bicycle and, as long as possible, I try not to use the subway, so I forgot to buy the card. I love the "futsu" Pasmo, like the one in the picture. I should still be able to find it somewhere, isn'i it? I hope it's not sold out!

It is available from the ticket machines at any subway or private owned railway stations in Kanto area. If you want, your name can be print on a card too (ticket machine will do it for you). But I prefer the simple look, so I didn't put my name.

At first I thought, why would you want a pasmo if you already had a suica card, but then I remembered that my girlfriend and I have 4 or 5 suica cards between us, and mobile suica on our phones.

Actually I wanted a Pasmo card because I prefer the design. Now I have two Suica cards and I keep them for visitors :-)
