昨日は埼玉と岐阜で40.9℃まで気温があがり、74年ぶりに国内最高気温を観測したそう。我が家でも36℃くらいあったかな。暑いとカレー人気も上昇するので、最近よくカレーの話題を耳にする。近所のスーパーで見つけたのは、なんとカレー納豆。
付属のタレがブラックペッパーがかなり効いたカレー味で、かなりピリッとくる。カレーっぽさは弱いのでカレー好きには物足りないかな。テレビで見て驚いたのは、カレーかき氷。
黄色い甘いシロップなのにカレーの香りがするんだとか。うーん、話題の品らしいんだけども、どうなんだか。

Natto for the first time. The small
sachet of sauce that comes with the natto has a curry flavour, but actually its black pepper taste is stronger than the curry taste, so it might not really be for curry lovers. Another very weird one I saw on TV was Curry
Kakigori: a Japanese shaved ice dessert. The
curry syrup (in Japanese) is sweet, but it also has a spicy curry flavour. I can't really imagine that and I'm not sure if I want to try...
