今日の東京は久々にスカッと晴れて気持ちのいい天気。デイヴィッド・リンチのインランド・エンパイアが
恵比寿ガーデンシネマで上映されているので、いい席を予約して観に行こうと思ったら、座席は全て自由席のため予約できなかった。そういえば、あそこには入場システムというのがあったっけ。上映日当日にガーデンシネマのカウンターを訪れた順にチケットに入場番号をスタンプしてもらい、上映15分前になったら入場番号順に入場するというもの。土曜日は混雑しているというし、何時くらいに行けばいいものかと考えていたら、相棒が朝っぱらから自転車でガーデンシネマに行ってくれた。そして、みごとに1番と2番をゲット。昨日の雨がまだ降り続いてたら、こうはいかなかった！
The weather in Tokyo is perfect today. It is so nice to have sunshine and a clear sky! We wanted to watch David Lynch's Inland Empire showing at
Yebisu Garden Cinema (in Japanese), so I tried to reserve good seats online, but I couldn't. I forgot about their entry system. When we visit their ticket counter on the day of the show, they stamp the number on our tickets. Fifteen minutes before the show, we enter the theater in the order of the stamped number. It seems like Saturday is really busy, so I was wondering how early we should be there to get OK seats. But C volunteered to go to the cinema by bike in the morning, and our numbers are 1 and 2! Nice one! This wouldn't have happened if it was raining, like yesterday.
